Advent is a time of gentle yet urgent longing in the human heart. In this retreat day we will explore some of the Advent Gospel readings which focus on the healing ministry of Jesus. The Church's Advent refrain "Drop Down Dew" from heaven refers to the longing for the healing power of Christ  in our personal pain and in the struggles of our world to give birth to the new reality of God's Kingdom. There will be time for personal reflection and silence throughout the day.

Rev. Stephen Coffey is a monk of the Benedictine Congregation of St. Mary of Mt. Olivet, residing at the Monastery of the Risen Christ in San Luis Obispo.  We welcome Father Steve!

*Our thanks to the Dan Murphy Foundation for underwriting some of the cost of this Retreat.
